I bought these for my two year old for her birthday. She loves them! The whole point is for them not to roll easily. Obviously these would be a bad choice for anyone searching professional quality skates. They are a perfect choice for your toddler. (They are the same skates as the Little People ones, I bought these since they have matching helmet and pads available!)

My daughter recieved these skates as a gift for her 3rd birthday. What a delight!! She loves them. She is not able to use them alone for very long (I hold her hand) but she enjoys them all the same. They go on over her shoe and fit very snug. You can move the wheels and lock them so they dont send her flying across the floor when she hits a smooth surface.. We usually take her on the side walk and they work very well on it..Great present!!!

When I brought these home my daughter jumped for joy. This skates are great, they're durable and the adjustable length to accomodated growing kids is great. I also like the way you can flip a switch on the skates to prevent them from rolling backwards, a definte saftey feature that comes in handy. These skates are a great buy at a great price
A definite must have!

I bought these for my 2.5 year old daughter. They remind me of the old training skates I had back in the early 80's.
They say they are for shoe size 6 to 12. My daughter wears a size 9 shoe and its on almost the smallest setting so I'm not sure how the smaller shoes would fit. It is pretty easy to get the rollerblades on her shoe size as long as you open them all the way up. But for larger shoes I can imagine it being a little difficult. Once on you can lock them very easily. My daughter loves being able to velcro them herself. And the part that goes against her leg is nicely padded so she seems quite comfy (I'm sure she'd tell me if she wasn't!).
There are 3 settings for the skates 1.2.&3. The 1st setting they lock the middle wheel making it a little difficult to move so my daughter appears to just be walking slowly in them. When I put it on 2 the wheel moves making it easier to move around and she goes a lot faster needing more assistance of course! For fun I put it on 3 to test it out and she definitely needed some assistance because the wheels go forward AND back!
For me - I was looking for something that could be fun & durable so I can pass them along to our youngest daughter. They definitely have been fun for my daughter...she asks to skate everyday! And they are quite durable and have been tossed around on the ground quite a few times. All parts still together and they look great!
I'd highly recommend these skates for kids 2+ up. Just don't forget your helmet & pads AND make sure the kids have some adult supervision when using!!! They'll be tired after!!! |

I bought these skates along with the coordinating helmet and kneepads for my great-niece for her 2nd birthday. She loves them! Her Mom has not let her go outside with them yet, but she happily scoots around the house "skating" from room to room.
Love these as first skates

Got these for my 3-year-old daughter and I feel really good about them. Her shoes (size 9 1/2) feel very secure in the skates-- I don't feel like they'd come loose or fall out. I love the three settings so she can get used to the feel of skating slowly, and she loves that they're pink. She's been skating around the kitchen floor with my help. This is a good value for the money and a lot of fun.
